Aquafilm ARN-1 (Alcohol-Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foam) is a mixture of water, hydrocarbon surfactants, solvents, C6 fluorosurfactants and fluoropolymers. The product is a 1% concentrate proportioned solution for use on both Hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires. This new formulation demonstrates ICL Performance Products commitment to superior firefighting performance and environmental responsibility.
Aquafilm ARN-1 foam is designed for rapid control and knockdown by producing a thin aqueous film on hydrocarbon fuels or a polymer membrane on polar solvent fuels that minimize vapor release, a foam blanket that separates the fuel from the air, and continual draining of water from the foam blanket provides cooling at the fuel surface.
Aquafilm ARN-1 is designed for easy proportioning even in extremely cold conditions. The product can be used at temperatures as low as 0 degrees F.

Class B foam is required for protection from and suppression of flammable liquid fires. Typical applications include chemical and petrochemcial plants, refineries, aircraft rescue and fire fighting, LPG/LNG terminals, etc.Explore
Liquid fire extinguishers are highly effective and cause far less peripheral damage than powder extinguishers. Class a or Class B additives significantly improve their effectiveness.Explore
Fire suppressant gel is thickened water typically used to coat a structure to protect it from impinging fire. Gel wraps a “blanket of water” around any structure, keeping it cool and preventing ignition from nearby fires.Explore
