In 2014, ICL introduced its new high visibility Phos-Chek MVP-Fx. The Fx line of products use a fugitive (disappearing) fluorescent color that is extremely vivid both coming out of the airplane, and on the ground, and disappears after a few weeks in the sun. Feedback from the aviation community has been uniformly positive. The retardant is highly visible on the ground, allowing pilots to effectively tag-on to previous retardant drops. ICL expects to have both its Phos-Chek LC95A Liquid Concentrate product and Phos-Chek 259 Fixed Tank Helicopter qualified product, approved with the Fx color in time for the 2016 fire season.
